Understanding screen icons
These icons may appear on your phone’s home screen.
The phone is operating in IS2000 (1X)
digital mode.
The phone is receiving a signal. You can
make and receive calls. Fewer bars
indicate a weaker signal.
A call is in progress.
The phone is not receiving a signal.
You cannot make or receive calls.
The phone is roaming outside of its
home service area.
You have a message.
The battery is fully charged. The more
black bars, the greater the charge.
The alarm clock is set.
The phone is in privacy mode.
The phone is set to light up instead
of ring.
The phone is set to vibrate or to vibrate
and then ring.
Indicates MP3 player is on.
Indicates MP3 is not available. MP3
music will not play when the handset is
in U-disk mode, a ringer or melody is
playing or MP3 player initialization is
not completed after powering up.
Indicates MP3 hard keys are locked
(any operation through these hard keys
will be disregarded). Press and hold
the camera key to unlock.
Indicates MP3 hard keys are locked
after pressing and holding the camera
key while MP3 player is paused.
Indicates MP3 is in pause state after
pressing MP3 pause key while MP3 is
playing.
Indicates MP3 hard keys are locked
after long pressing the camera key
while MP3 player is playing.
