Silence All
There may be times when you need to silence your phone entirely.
The phone’s Silence All option allows you to mute all sounds without
turning your phone off.
To activate Silence All:

Press and hold the volume key down in standby mode.
(The screen will display “Silence All.”)
To deactivate Silence All:
ᮣ
Press the volume key up repeatedly to select a desired
volume level.
Display Settings
Changing the Text Greeting
The text greeting can be up to sixteen characters and is displayed on
your phone’s screen in standby mode. You may choose to display a
custom greeting or you may display your Sprint PCS User Name on
the phone’s screen.
To display or change your custom greeting:
1. Press Menu (left softkey ) to access the main menu.
2. Select Settings ().
3. Select Display ().
4. Select Greeting ().
5. Select Custom using the navigation key and press .
6. Press to clear the existing greeting.
6. Use the numeric keypad to enter a new custom greeting.
7. Press to Save and exit.
Note:
To access the phone’s main menu, press Menu (Left softkey) from
standby mode. Menu items may be selected by highlighting them with
the navigation key and pressing OK, or you can press the number
corresponding to the menu item on your keypad.
