Calculator
You can use Calculator to perform any of the standard operations for which you would
normally use a handheld calculator. Calculator performs basic arithmetic, such as
addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Perform a calculation
1 On the Home screen, select Start.
2 Select Accessories.
3 Select Calculator.
4 Enter the first number of the formula by using the keypad.
Tip: To display the available mathematical symbols, use the navigation keys. Press
up for the plus sign (+), down for the minus sign (–), left for the division sign (/),
and right for the multiplication sign (X).
5 Select Options and then the type of calculation to perform: Add, Subtract, Multiply,
Divide, or Decimal Point.
6 Enter the second number of the formula.
7 Select Options and then Equals.
Tip: To scroll through the available mathematical symbols, press #.
To enter a decimal point, press *.
Clear a displayed number or calculation
• Select Clear.
Clear the last digit entered
• Press m.
