Connectivity
In this menu you can connect the phone to a compatible device via an infrared
connection and define when the phone connects to the (E)GPRS network.
Infrared
The phone has an infrared port for connecting it to another IrDA compliant device,
for example to send business cards or calendar notes.
To activate the infrared port: Press Menu in standby mode, and select Settings,
Connectivity and Infrared.
Do not point the IR (infrared) beam at anyone's eye or allow it to interfere with other IR
devices. This device is a Class 1 Laser product.
Sending and receiving data via IR
Ensure that the infrared ports of your phone and the other device are pointing
at each other and that there are no obstructions between the devices. The
preferable distance between the two devices in an infrared connection is one
metre at the most.
