Your device has two cameras, a high resolution camera on the back cover (the
main camera in landscape mode) and a lower resolution camera on the front (the
secondary camera in portrait mode). You can use both cameras to take still
pictures and record videos.
To use the main camera, open the main camera slide cover.
To activate the camera, press the camera key.
To zoom in or out, use the volume keys
or scroll up or down. To capture an
image, press the camera key. The image
is saved to Images in Gallery, and the
image is displayed. To return to the
viewfinder, select Back. To delete the
photo, press the clear key.
To capture images sequentially, select Options > Sequence mode > On. In the
sequence mode, the camera captures six images in short intervals and displays the
images in a grid.
To use the panorama mode, select Options > Panorama mode. Press the
capture key to capture a panorama image. The panorama preview is displayed.
Turn slowly to right or left. You cannot change the direction. If the arrow on the
display is red, you are turning too fast. To stop the panorama, press the
capture key again. The panorama mode is available only in the main camera.
To turn the flash on or off, select Options > Flash > On or Off. If you select
Automatic, the flash is used automatically when necessary. The flash is available
only in the main camera.
Keep a safe distance when using the flash. Do not use the flash on people or animals at close
range. Do not cover the flash while taking a picture.
In dim lighting, to use night mode, select Options > Night mode > On.
