Menu functions
USE BROWSER OPTIONS
The
Services
menu gives you the options shown in the following table.
Some wireless providers may have customized the options on the Services
menu. Contact your wireless provider for more information if any of the
options shown in the following table are not available.
NAVIGATE THE MOBILE INTERNET
Since your phone screen is much smaller than a computer screen, Internet
content is displayed differently than you may be accustomed to seeing.
This section contains guidelines for using phone keys to navigate a mobile
Internet site. Examples of how to read a mobile Internet site follow
the guidelines.
Guidelines for using phone keys
Use the up or down scroll keys to browse the mobile Internet site.
To select a highlighted item, press the talk key.
To enter letters and numbers, press the keys 0–9.
To enter special characters, press the star key.
Choice What it does
Home
Starts the browser and takes you to your service
provider’s home page.
Bookmarks
Shows a list of all saved bookmarks. Bookmarks help
you find a mobile Internet site quickly.
Service
inbox
Allows you to receive notifications from your service
provider about new e-mail messages, changes in stock
prices, and so on.
Settings
Provides options for changing connection settings,
appearance settings, and authority certificate.
Go to
address
Allows you to enter a URL and go to that web page.
Clear the
cache
Empties the browser’s temporary memory. It is advisable
to empty the cache at the end of each session.
