FIXED DIALING
Once you setup and activate a fixed dialing list, your phone can make calls
only
to those numbers that you have defined in the fixed dialing list. Fixed
dialing is a network feature and must be supported by your wireless provider.
Note:
When fixed dialing is set on, calls may be possible to certain
emergency numbers in some networks (for example, 911 or other
official emergency numbers).
Set up and activate a fixed dialing list

At the start screen, press
Menu 4-7-3

Settings
>
Security
Settings
>
Fixed
dialing
). After a brief pause, the options in the following table
appear in the display.
On
–Activate fixed dialing (see Note above).
Off
–Deactivate fixed dialing.
Number
list
–View the numbers in your fixed dialing list.
Note:
If you activate fixed dialing and the number list is empty,
you are unable to make outgoing calls, except to emergency
numbers like 911.

Number list
and press
Select
.
Fixed dialing not active
and
then
Fixed dialing list empty
appear in the display.

You are prompted to enter the PIN2 code. Enter the PIN2 code and
press
OK
.

Enter the fixed dialing number, or press
Find
to retrieve a number
from your phone book and press
OK
.

Enter a name for the number and press
OK
. A confirmation note
appears in the display and you are returned to the fixed dialing
number list.

On
, and press

to activate fixed dialing.
