In standby mode, press or to enter the phone book quickly.
During a call: Press Options, scroll with or to Phone book, and press Select when
Search is highlighted.
Storing names and numbers
1. Press Names, scroll to Add name and press Select.
2. Key in the name; press a number key ( to ) repeatedly until the desired character or
number appears. The most common punctuation marks and special characters are available under
the number key . To insert a space, press .
Note: All characters available under a number key are not printed on the key. The characters
available under a number key depend on the language selected in the menu 4-2-1.
3. Press OK.
4. Key in an area code and phone number, and press OK. If you wish to add a voice tag, see Adding a
voice tag to a phone number on page 51.
Writing text:
If the next letter is located on the same key as the present one, press or (or wait until the
cursor appears again) and then key in the letter.
To switch between upper case and lower case, press quickly. The symbol ABC or abc shown at
the top of the display indicates the selected case.
To insert a number, press and hold the key labelled with the desired number. To switch between
letters and numbers, press and hold . Number mode is indicated by 123 at the top of the
display.
