Send a message from the phone book
You can send text and e-mail messages directly from the phone book.
CHOOSE A NAME
1 Press or .
The name list appears.
2 Scroll to the name you want and press Details.
The name and any information stored with it appears.
Tip: To skip ahead quickly in the list, press the number key that
matches the first letter of the name.
SEND A TEXT MESSAGE
1 When the name appears, scroll to the phone number you want (if
there is more than one stored) and press Options.
Note: The phone number you choose must be capable of receiving
short text messages.
2 Scroll to Send message and press Select.
3 Write your message using the keypad.
4 When you’re finished writing, press Options.
Send appears highlighted.
5 Press Select.
The message is sent and confirmation messages appear.
SEND AN E-MAIL MESSAGE
Make sure you have an e-mail address entered into the phone book for
the name you that want to send an email. See “Add an entry to the Phone
book” on page 46 for more details.
1 When the name appears, scroll to the email address and press
Options. Send e-mail appears highlighted.
2 Press Select.
The Subject box appears.
