Press OK to start copying or
Back to cancel the operation.
If the name is too long for the target
phone book, then name is shortened.
If the name already is in the target
phone book with a different phone
number, an ordinal number is added
to the end of the name.
Erasing a name and
phone number
You can remove names and phone
numbers from the selected phone
book one by one or all at once.
One by one
1. In the standby mode, press Names.
2. Scroll to Erase and press Select.
3. Scroll to One by one and press Se-
lect.
4. Scroll to the name and phone
number you want to erase. Press E
rase and then confirm with OK.
Erase all
1. In the standby mode, press Names.
2. Scroll to Erase and press Select.
3. Scroll to Erase all and press Select.
4. Select the memory to be erased,
Phone or SIM card. Press Select.
5. At the prompt Are you sure?, press
OK.
6. Key in the security code and press
OK.

Assigning a phone
number as a speed
dial number
The first nine names and phone num-
bers stored in phone book are auto-
matically saved as speed dial numbers
and can be speed dialled via the
number keys - . If you
want to assign another number to a
speed dial key, take the following
steps:
1. Press Names and select Speed Dials.
If no phone number is assigned to
a key, press Assign.
