Sparks can cause an explosion or fire, resulting in bodily injury or even death. These
areas are often, but not always, clearly marked. They include:
ⅷ Fueling areas such as gas stations.
ⅷ Below deck on boats.
ⅷ Fuel or chemical transfer or storage facilities.
ⅷ Areas where the air contains chemicals or particles such as grain, dust, or
metal powders.
ⅷ Any other area where you would normally be advised to turn off your
vehicle’s engine.
Water Resistance
Your phone is not water-resistant. Keep it dry.
Backup Copies
Remember to make back-up copies or keep a written record of all important
information stored in your phone.
Connecting to Other Devices
When connecting to any other device, read its user guide for detailed safety
instructions. Do not connect incompatible devices.
Accessories and Batteries
Use only approved accessories and batteries. Do not connect incompatible products.
Qualified Service
Only qualified personnel may install or repair this product.
Emergency Calls
Ensure the phone is switched on and in service. Press as many times as
needed to clear the display and return to the main screen. Key in the emergency
number, then press . Give your location. Do not end the call until given
permission to do so.
Restricting Children’s Access to your Phone
Your PCS Phone is not a toy. Children should not be allowed to play with it because
they could hurt themselves and others, damage the phone or make calls that
increase your phone bill.
Note:
Never transport or store flammable gas, liquid, or explosives in the compartment of
your vehicle that contains your phone or accessories.
