switched on. The password is factory set to 0000. To change the phone
password, once the correct password has been entered, you can use the
phone until you switch it off.
Fixed dialing: To restrict your outgoing calls and text messages to selected
phone numbers if this function is supported by your SIM card. The PIN2 code
is required. When the fixed dialing is on, GPRS connections are not possible
except while sending text messages over a GPRS connection. In this case, the
recipient’s phone number and the message center number have to be
included on the fixed dialing list.
12.11 Auto Key Guard
Key Guard allows you to keep the phone in your pocket or purse without the
worry of accidentally dialing a number.
Press OK key (Menu) > Scroll down
(two times) > Shift right key
(Settings) > OK key > Scroll up (two times) (Auto key guard).
Select On to activate the automatic key guard. Select Off to deactivate this
function. .
12.12 Restore Factory
To reset some of the menu settings to their original values, press OK key
(Menu) > Scroll down (two times) > Shift right key (Settings) > OK
key > Scroll up (Restore factory). Before you are allowed to restore
the factory setting, you are asked to enter the handset code. Enter handset
code and confirm if you want to reset the configuration.
Information:
Note that the data you have keyed in or downloaded, for example, the names
and phone numbers saved in contacts are not deleted.
