Answering phone calls
BlackBerry Wireless Handheld 45
1. Select one of the following options:
Click the Phone icon. The Phone screen appears. Press the
Space key.
If your handheld is locked, click the trackwheel. A dialog box
appears. Click Emergency Call. A dialog box appears. Click
Yes.
2. Type an emergency phone number (for example, 911 or 112).
3. Click the trackwheel. The emergency number is dialed.
4. To end the call, press and hold the Escape button.

Answer a call
1. In the dialog box that appears when you receive a call, select one
of the following options:

Answer Answer the incoming call.
Answer and Hold Answer the incoming call and place it on hold.
Answer - Drop
Current
End the current call and answer the incoming call.
Answer - Hold
Current
Place the current call on hold and answer the incoming
call.
Ignore Ignore the incoming call.
Tip: If you use the headset with your handheld, press the headset button to
answer the call. Press and hold the headset button to end the call.
