Answer a Direct Connect® or Group Connect™ call
1. Press and hold the PTT™ button to speak to your contact or
group.
2. Release the PTT™ button to listen to your contact or group.
3. To end the call, press and hold the Escape button or wait six
seconds for the call to disconnect automatically.
Answer an alert
1. Press the PTT™ button. The Active Call screen appears.
2. Press and hold the PTT™ button to speak to your contact.
3. Release the PTT™ button to listen to your contact.
4. To end the call, press and hold the Escape button or wait six
seconds for the call to disconnect automatically.
Queue an alert
1. In the Alert From dialog box, click Queue. The alert appears on
the messages screen as an unopened message.
Tip: To respond to a queued alert on the messages screen, open the alert and
press the PTT
™ button to make a Direct Connect® call, or click the
trackwheel and select Alert to send a new alert to the contact.
