Messaging 101
Display Popup
When this option is turned On, a popup window is displayed on the
phone to alert you that new messages are waiting. To turn On the
Display Popup option:
1. Press for Main Menu.
2. Press for Messaging.
3. Press for Settings
4. Press for Display Popup.
5. Select On using the navigation key and press to Select.
Sending Options
The Sending Options allow you to configure the Priority and Call Back
number for outgoing messages. Once configured, these options are
the default settings for any new messages that are created.
Priority
There are two priority levels associated with text messaging. They
are:
• Normal: this option sends the message as normal with
regular delivery.
• Urgent: this option sends the message at the highest level
and alerts the recipient that it is urgent.
This setting allows you to select the default priority level when
creating new messages. To select the priority level:
1. Press for Main Menu.
2. Press for Messaging.
3. Press for Settings.
4. Press for Sending Options.
5. Press for Priority.
