Changing the Backlight Time Length
The backlight setting lets you select how long the display screen and
keypad are illuminated after the handset is opened or any key press is
made.
To change the backlight setting:
1. Press the left softkey for MENU.
2. Press for Settings.
3. Press for Display.
1. Press for Backlight.
4. Press for Dim, for Keypad, or for OFF.
5. Use the navigation key to select:
• Always On, Always Off, 7 seconds, 15 Seconds, or 30
Seconds for LCD.
• Always On, Always Off, 7 seconds, 15 Seconds, or 30
Seconds for Keypad.
• Always On, 1 Minute, 2 Minute, 5 Minute, or 10 Minute
for Off.
6. Press to save and exit.
Note: Long backlight settings reduce the battery’s talk and standby
times.
Changing the Service LED
To change the Service LED:
1. Press the left softkey for MENU.
2. Press for Settings.
3. Press for Display.
