Taking Pictures
Taking pictures with your phone’s built-in Digital Camera is as simple
as choosing a subject, pointing the lens, and pressing a button. You
can activate Camera mode and take pictures whether the phone is
open or closed.
To Take a Picture With the Phone Open
1. Press the left softkey for MENU.
2. Press for Camera.
3. Press for Take Picture.
Shortcut: To activate Camera mode, you can also press and hold the Side Camera
button . (see illustration on page 1).
4. Using the phone’s main LCD as a viewfinder, aim the
camera lens at your subject.
To change the picture resolution between Low, Medium and
High, press the up or down navigation keys.
To zoom in or out, press the left or right navigation keys.
With higher resolutions, you will not be able to zoom in as
much.
5. Hold the camera steady. To take the picture, press or
the Side Camera button
until the shutter sounds.
If you wish to save your picture, press the right softkey
to Save your photo. The photo is stored in your photo
gallery. See "Photo Gallery" on page 114 for more details.
If you wish to send your picture to someone via multimedia
messaging, press . Your picture is embedded in a new
