Text Message
The following options are available:
• Sending Options: allows you to set the following options:
ⅷ Keep a Copy: allows you to keep a copy of your sent messages.
• Text Message Center Settings: allows you to set the default method of text
message transmission used by the Text Message Center. The options are:
ⅷ SMS Settings: allows you to configure the text delivery parameters used when
sending this type of message.
ⅷ Email Settings: allows you to configure the Email parameters used when
sending this type of message.
ⅷ Empty: allows you to configure a new Text Message Center profile for use when
sending this type of message.
Multimedia Message
The following options are available:
• Sending Options:
ⅷ Priority: you can select the priority level of your messages.
ⅷ Expiration: select the length of time you wish the message to remain on the
MMS server.
ⅷ Delivery: you can set a time delay before the phone sends your messages.
ⅷ Message Size: you can set the maximum allowed size for a multimedia
message.
ⅷ Request Delivery Report: when this option is enabled, the network informs
you whether or not your message has been delivered.
ⅷ Request Read Report: when this option is enabled, your phone sends a
request for a reply along with your message to the recipient.
ⅷ Keep a Copy: you specify whether you want to keep a copy of the sent
messages on your phone.
ⅷ Add my Contact Details: you send your content information along with your
sent messages.
• Receiving Options: you can specify the category of messages you want to receive.
Allows you to set the following:
ⅷ Download Type: allows you to set the message receipt options. Choose from
Auto Download, Manual, or Reject.
ⅷ Send Delivery Report: when this option is enabled, the phone informs the
network whether or not your message has been received.
ⅷ Send Read Report: when this option is enabled, your phone sends a
notification back to the recipient indicating that your message has been received.
