Pairing Bluetooth Devices
The Bluetooth pairing process allows you to establish trusted
connections between your phone and another Bluetooth
device. When devices are paired, a passkey is shared between
devices, allowing for fast, secure connections while bypassing
the discovery and authentication process.
1. Press >Bluetooth.
2. Highlight an option and press .
Ⅲ
Handsfree Pairingto find a headset or hands-free
device.
Ⅲ
Add to Trustedto find a device per device type. Select a
device type to be searched.
Ⅲ
Trusted Listto find all device types. Select Add Newto
start searching.
3. Highlight a device and press .
4. Enter the passkey and press . When the owner of the
other device enters the same passkey, the pairing is
complete.
Trusted List Options
Once you have created paired devices, several options are
available from the trusted list.
1. Press >Bluetooth>Trusted List.
2. Highlight a device and press OPTIONS(right softkey) to
display the following options:

Connector Disconnect to connect to or disconnect
from the Bluetooth device (if applicable).
Ⅲ
Send Itemto send an item saved on your phone to
another Bluetooth device (if applicable).
Ⅲ
Printto print an item using a Bluetooth-enabled printer
(if applicable).
Ⅲ
Edit Nameto edit the name of the trusted device.
Ⅲ
Auto-Accept to configure your phone’s accessibility to
other Bluetooth devices.
Ⅲ
Device Infoto display the trusted device’s information.
Note
Due to different specifications and features of other
Bluetooth compatible devices, display and operations
may be different, and functions such as transfer or
exchange may not be possible.
