Troubleshooting
If your phone is not performing to your expectations, please try these simple steps
first. If these steps do not solve your problem, please call our Customer Hotline at
1-800-297-1023 (Mon - Fri 7 am to 7 pm, Sat/Sun/holidays 9 am to 5 pm, CST).
Symptom Suggestion
The charge LED won't
illuminate when the
handset is placed in the
cradle.
• Make sure the AC adapter is plugged into the base or the charger (if you have
more than one handset) and wall outlet.
• Make sure the handset is properly seated in the cradle.
• Make sure the charging contacts on the handset are clean.
The audio sounds weak.
• Move the handset and/or base away from metal objects or appliances and try
again.
• Make sure that you are not too far from the base.
Can't make or receive
calls.
• Make sure that you are not too far from the base.
• Make sure the line is not in use. If an out call is already using a line, you cannot
use that line to make another outside call.
• Check both ends of the base telephone line cord.
• Make sure the AC adapter is plugged into the base and wall outlet.
• Disconnect the AC adapter for a few minutes, and then reconnect it.
• Change the Digital Security Code (see page 13).
