10.4 WAP profiles

10.4.1 Create
From the Wap Profile screen, press “[Create]” to access the following four items:
- Title:You may enter a title for your Wap Profile.
- Gateway:There are 4 items to choose from (Primary IP,Primary Port, Secondary IP, Secondary Port).
- Bearer: Either GPRS or CSD is provided.By selecting “GPRS”, you will be able to modify the following
details: User Name, Password, and APN. By selecting “CSD”, you will be able to modify the following
details: User Name, Password,Telephone number, Line Type (either Analog or ISDN),Transfer rate (which
will be set automatically at 9600)
- Homepage:You may define one of your most preferred URLs as the home page launcher.
- Timer: Set the time before disconnection.
Select “My Bookmarks” and press to select titles of websites and URLfrom the list and the URL fields.
Press the left softkey (“Options”) to access the following functions:

When you are in WAP mode, you can:
1) confirm your choice by pressing the softkey,
2) access “Options” by pressing .
Back • Return to the previous screen
when viewing a webpage.
Go To URL • You may enter the URL for an
Internet website.
Homepage • Access the predefined homepage
directly.
Exit • End your Internet connection.
My Bookmarks• Bookmark your favourite or
frequently accessed sites.Later
you may select and access these
sites quickly.
Save Items • Save content of a webpage.
SnapShots • Save images on a WAP webpage.
Reload • Refresh the current webpage.
Settings • Modify the Internet access
settings for different WAP
service operators.
About • Show your WAP version and
related information.
A long press on the key launches the browser directly.
To end your WAP session,press ,select “Exit” and confirm with the left softkey .
10.3 My bookmarks
The option allows you to add your favourite or frequently accessed websites to “My Bookmarks”.The next
time you enter the browser, you will be able to access sites in “My Bookmarks” directly without entering
the URL.You may add web pages to “My Bookmarks” and sort them to enable you to access them more
easily.
