Voice messages
The voice mailbox is a network
service and you may need to
subscribe to it. For more information
and for the voice mailbox number,
contact your service provider.
Press Menu, and select Messages
and Voice messages. Select
Listen to voice messages to call
your voice mailbox at the phone
number that you have saved in
the Voice mailbox number menu.
If you have two phone lines
available (network service), each
phone line may have its own
voice mailbox number. Refer to
”Call settings” on page 59.
Voice mailbox number to key in,
search for or edit your voice
mailbox number and press OK to
save it.
If supported by the network, the
indicator will show new voice
messages. Press Listen to call your
voice mailbox number.
Tip: Pressing and holding
calls your voice
mailbox.
Info messages
With the info message network
service you can receive messages on
various topics from your service
provider. These messages may
include, for example, weather or
traffic conditions. For availability,
topics and the relevant topic
numbers, contact your service
provider.
Message settings
The message settings affect the
sending, receiving and viewing of
messages.
Settings for text and e-mail
messages
1. Press Menu, and select
Messages, Message settings, Text
messages and Sending profile.
2. If more than one message profile
set is supported by your SIM card,
select the set you want to
change.
Select Message centre
number to save the phone
number of the message centre
that is required for sending
text messages. You will
receive this number from your
service provider.
Select Messages sent via to
select the message type Text,
E-mail, Paging or Fax.
