• Send to send the message to the network. Your screen name is added to the
message.
Tip: To quickly send the message, press after you have finished
the message.
• View conversation to view the ongoing conversation. To save the chat
conversation, press Save and enter the name for the conversation.
• Save contact, refer to Reading a received chat message on page 73.
• Add to contact, refer to Reading a received chat message on page 73.
• Group members to view the members in the selected private group that you
have created.
• End conversation to close the ongoing conversation.
• Dictionary refer to Setting predictive text input on or off on page 39.
Editing your own information
Enter the Chat menu and connect to the chat service. Select My information to
view and edit your own availability information or screen name. Select Availability
and Available for all or Avail. for contacts (or Appear offline) toallow all the other
chat users or only the contacts on your chat contact list to see you as being online
when you have connected to the chat service. When you are connected to the
chat service, indicates that you are online and that you are not visible to
others.
