Show to to select the groups
with whom you want to share
or not share your presence
status information. Select
Private and public, Private
viewers or No one.
Current viewers and select
Current viewers to view all
the persons who have
subscribed to your presence
information
Private list to view the list of
the persons who are allowed
to view your personalised
presence information.
Blocked list to view all the
persons you have blocked
from viewing your presence
information.
Settings and select
Show current presence in idle
to show the current status
indicator in standby mode.
Synchronise with profiles to
select whether you want to
update your My presence
message and My availability
manually or automatically by
linking them to the currently
active profile. Refer also to
”Profiles” on page 52. Note
that you cannot link a
personalized status logo to a
Profile.
Connection type to select if
the phone connects
automatically to the service
when the phone is switched
on.

Subscribed contacts
You can create a list of contacts
whose presence status information
you want to be aware of. You can
view the information if the contacts
allow you to view it and if it is not
prevented by the contact or network.
You can view these subscribed
contacts either by scrolling through
the contacts or via the Subscribed
names menu.
Make sure that the memory in use is
either Phone or Phone and SIM. See
”Selecting settings for contacts” on
page 43.
To connect to the Presence service,
press Menu and select Contacts, My
presence and Connect to My
presence service. You can view the
subscribed contacts even when you
are not connected to the presence
service but you can not see the
presence status information about
the contact.
