• ACTIVATE A PROFILE
1 Press Menu 3 (Profiles).
2 Scroll to one of the profiles (Normal, Silent, Meeting, Outdoor,
Pager) and press Select.
3 Press Select again to activate the desired profile.
Tip: To change the profile quickly in standby mode, press the
power key , scroll to the profile you want to activate and press
Select. You can also use the shortcut method. For example:
pressing Menu 3-2-1 will activate your Silent profile. You can
also use Voice Commands to activate profiles (see “Voice
commands” on page 79).
• TIMED PROFILES
To activate a profile for a specific amount of time (up to 24 hours), you
can utilize the Timed setting.
1 Press Menu 3 (Profiles) and scroll to the desired profile.
2 Scroll down to Timed and press Select.
3 Set the expiration time (e.g. 1:30 pm). When the timed profile expires,
the previously profile is reactivated.
• CUSTOMIZE PROFILES
1 Press Menu 3 (Profiles).
2 Scroll to the desired profile and press Select.
3 Scroll to Customize and adjust the setting(s) you wish to change. In
addition, you can rename all profiles except for Normal.
Note: Ringtone settings can also be changed in the Tone settings
menu. See “Tone settings” on page 58.. Whatever changes you
make to your Ringtone settings via the Tone settings menu will
override your currently selected Profile.
