Telephone numbers and names can be stored in the
phonebook. This is held both on the SIM and in the
phone memory. If you are storing the contact details
on the phone you can also store other details such as
home number, office number, caller ringtone.
Phonebook allows you to store frequently used
numbers so that you can easily make a call without
having to remember or enter the telephone number.
You can search and recall numbers in order to make a
call, create a message or use an entry as an
emergency contact. The phone book in the phone
memory can contain 300 entries. If you try to add a
new entry when all the memory is filled, a warning
message will be displayed. You will need to delete an
existing entry in order to add the new telephone
number. The contacts saved in the SIM card memory
are indicated by
SIM
(capacity of the SIM storage
depends on the SIM itself). The advantage of saving to
SIM means you can transfer the information to another
telephone (the capacity of the SIM will depend on the
SIM being used).
