84 10. Messaging
To display a text message from the main menu:
1. Select > Messaging.
2. Select Text > Inbox,Sent Mail,Pending,Drafts, or your defined
folder.
3. Select the message you want to see and press . (To display
the message options, press Options[right softkey].)
Tip:Press the navigation key right to read the next message from the message
detail display; press the navigation key left to read the previous message (Inbox,
Sent Mail, and your defined folder only).
To display a picture message from the main menu:
1. Select > Messaging > Picture Msg.
2. Select Inbox.
3. Select your desired picture message and press .
4. Press Go (left softkey) to display the picture message.
(The browser will start and display the picture message.)

Composing and Sending a Text Message
To send a Text message:
1. Select > Messaging> Send Message > Textand select the
entry method you prefer:

Phone Book Entryto select a recipient from your internal
Contacts. (Qualifying Contacts entries must contain a
phone number or an email address.)
Ⅲ
Phone# to use the keypad to enter the phone number of the
person to whom you wish to send a message.
Ⅲ
Email to enter the recipient’s email address.
Tip:Press Others(right softkey) > From Recent List or Phone Book Groups to select
a recent phone book entry, phone book groups entry, phone number, or email
address.
2. Press to save the recipient. (You may include up to 16
recipients per message.)
3. Press Next (left softkey) when you have finished selecting and
entering recipients.
