Wireless Backup
This feature allows you to back up all of your contacts to the
Sprint Web site and restore them if your phone is lost, stolen,
damaged, or replaced.
To subscribe to the wireless backup service, you will need to
purchase a license to use the wireless backup service through
your phone’s browser. The license expires after a set period of
time and must be renewed regularly. As part of the initial
subscription process, a random wireless backup password is
generated. The randomly-generated password will be sent to
your phone as an SMS text message. (

Unsubscribewill be displayed.)
Activating Wireless Backup During Phone Activation
1. When you turn on your phone, you will be prompted to
register your phone.
2. SelectYe s.(When activation is complete, an activation
confirmation screen is displayed.)
Activating and Deactivating Wireless Backup Service
Toactivate the wireless backup service:
1. Press Menu > Contacts > Wireless Backup > Subscribe.
(You will be prompted to confirm your license status.)
2. SelectYesand press and follow the onscreen
instructions to purchase the license.
3. Please wait while registering the license. (You will see a
confirmation screen if it has been registered.)
Tip
To use the wireless backup service, you are required to activate
the service from your phone.
