Entering Numbers, Symbols, Smileys and Preset Messages
To enter numbers:

Selectthe 123mode and press the appropriate key.

To enter symbols:

Selectthe Symbolsmode. (See “Selecting a Text Input
Mode”on page 37.) To enter a symbol, press the
appropriate key indicated on the display.
To enter “emoticons”(smileys):

Selectthe Smileysmode and press the appropriate key.

To enter presetmessages:
1. Selectthe PresetMsgs mode.(See “Selecting a TextInput
Mode” on page 37.)
2. Select a message and press .
To enter recent messages:
1. SelectSendMessage >Text Message mode.
2. In message inputmode, select Mode(rightsoftkey) and
scroll to the
Recentmessagesand press .
