Accessing Sprint Instant Messaging
Sprint Vision also provides you with access to popular instant
messaging (IM) clients, including AOL® Instant Messenger
TM
,
Windows® Live Messenger, and Yahoo!® Messenger.
1. Press Menu > Messaging > Instant Messaging.
2. SelectAOL INSTANT MESSENGER,WINDOWS LIVE
MESSENGER
,or YAHOO! MESSENGER.
3. Use your keypad to enter the required sign-in
information for the selected provider, such as user name
or password, and select
Sign In.(Your IM screen for the
selected provider will be displayed.)
4. If prompted, select an option to allow mobile IM to
access your phone's data services.
5. Follow the onscreen instructions to read, reply to,
compose, send, and manage your IM account.
Accessing Wireless Chatrooms
SprintVision gives you the ability to join wireless chatrooms
from your phone.
1. From the Sprint Vision home page, select Messaging >
Chat&Dating
.
2. Select a chat provider and follow the onscreen
instructions to sign up and begin chatting.
Note
Chat & Dating options change frequently, so check back often to
see what’s new.
Note
The information required to sign in will vary depending on
the instant messaging provider you are accessing.
