Using Data Roam Guard
Depending on service availability and roaming agreements,
your phone may be able to access data services while roaming
on certain digital systems. You can setyour phone to alertyou
when you are roaming off the Sprint National Network and try
to use data services such as messaging.
To setyour Data Roam Guard notification:
1. Press Menu > Settings/Tools > Settings > More... >
Roaming > Data Roaming
.
2. Select an option and press .

Default:Data Roam Guard may appear when
roaming internationally.:

Always Ask:
Data Roam Guard will be appeared when
you are in a data roaming area.

Never Ask:Data Roam Guard won't be appeared
when you are in a data roaming area.
Touse data services when Data Roam Guard is active:

When a pop-up notification appears informing you that
data roam charges may apply, press
Roam(leftsoftkey)
to connect.
Note
Data Roam Guard is turned off by default on your phone.
Note
If the Call Guard feature is set to On,you need to take extra
steps to make and receive roaming calls.
