Turning On the Power
1. Press and hold O.
The standby screen appears on the main display.
If the PIN code request (page 108) is set to On, enter your PIN
code after you press and hold O.
Turning Off the Power
1. In standby mode, press and hold O.
The power off screen appears and the power is turned off.
1. In standby mode, press @.
The main menu appears.
2. Settings Phone Settings Date&Time
Set Date/Time: Allows you to set the date and time and the
summer time.
Date Format: Allows you to set the date format.
12 hour/24 hour: Allows you to set 12-hour/24-hour system
for the time display.
World Clock: Displays the city name and one-line digital clock
for both the home city and alternate city if the Alternate City
setting is set for the world clock.
You can perform the following operations if you select Set
Home City or Set Alternate City, press J (Select) and then
press J (Options).
GMT Offset: Allows you to select a city by entering a GMT
time difference.
DST On/Off: Allows you to set the summer time.
Turning On/Off the Power
A screen for setting the date and time appears the first time you
turn on the power of your phone. Set the date and time and the
summer time while referring to Date & Time Settings on the
right.
Touching the built-in antenna part of your phone affects signal
strength. Avoid touching this part of your phone during use.
