Slide open
In addition to the functionality with the slide closed, the following additional methods to access functions
are available with the slide open:
Access Custom Menu
Press and hold up.
Record a Voice Memo
Press and hold right.
Activate Camera mode
Press and hold the side camera key .
Take a picture
Activate Camera mode and press the left softkey .
Switch from Camera to
Video mode
From Camera mode, press and hold the side camera key .
Record a video
Press and hold the side camera key twice and press the left
softkey .
Silence the ringer on an
incoming call
Press up or down; Press the end key or the left softkey
then the send/talk key to answer.
Access Music Player
Press and hold or .
To... From the home screen...
Make a call
Enter the number and press the send/talk key .
Access voicemail
Press and hold and follow the system prompts.
Take a picture
Press and hold camera key . Focus on the image and select
Capture.
Record a video
Press and hold camera key . Select Options → Video Mode.
Focus on the image and select
Record. To stop recording,
select
Stop.
