32 Removable Memory Card
3. Once the Transflash (microSD) card has been
formatted, you can place (drag and drop)
your music files onto the card.

Manually format your card if the information on
the card is not readable by your phone or if you
are having other technical issues with the card.
Note: Formatting or reformatting a card erases all
data and music files that were previously saved on
the Transflash (microSD) card.
1. Insert the Transflash (microSD) card.

on page 31.)
2. Select Menu Settings Memory Card
Format Card.
3. Press the left softkey to select Yes and
format the card.
4. The message “Card now ready for use.”
appears after completion.
Saving files on the card
Music files can be put onto the memory card by
using an optional memory card reader for your
computer, inserting the memory card adapter
directly into a computer which has the
appropriate slot, or by using an optional USB
cable and placing the phone into
Mass Storage
Mode
.
Note: Use only a previously formatted memory
card when loading music files.
Connecting the Memory Card to your
computer
1. Insert the Transflash (microSD) card into the
memory card adapter.
2. Place the adapter with the Transflash
(microSD) card in it into the appropriate slot
on your computer.

If you do not have a slot in your computer,
connect the memory card reader to
your computer and insert the memory card
into the memory card reader.
3. Locate the Removable Disk drive on
your computer.
4. Locate the music files to be placed onto the
memory card and “drag and drop” them to
the Removable disk drive.
5. Place music files into the “music” folder
located on the memory card.
