JVM only reads files with .jad or .jar
extensions.
Follow the steps to play a Java
game.
1. From the main menu, select the
Multimedia > Games & Apps >
Applications and press OK
.
2. Choose a Java game you want to
play and press Options
.
3. Select Launch and press OK to
start playing
To manage your applications, from
the main menu, select Multimedia
> Games & Apps > Applications
and select an application by
pressing Options. There are
functions for you to use.
► Launch: Launches the java
game or application you have
selected.
► Settings: Defines the permission
level when using Java
applications. Permission levels
are “ Prompt at first”, “Allow”,
“Never”, and “Prompt always”.
You can configure the following
seven settings of permission:
– Network access: Allows to
making a data connection via
networks.
– Auto invocation: Allows
to automatically starting a
MIDlet, for example, by push
registration.
– Messaging: Allows to sending
or receive messages like
SMS.
– Multimedia: Allows to
recording images, audio,
video, and so on.
– Read user data: Allows to
reading user data like phone
book or calendar entries.
– Write user data: Allows to
writing user data.
– Local connectivity: Allows
you to connect via local ports
like Bluetooth.
► Information: Access information
about java games and
applications including name
of application, memory size,
application version, name of
vender, and authorized source.
