Menu 5.1
Your phone includes voice mail,
notification messages and text
messages. Voice mail and short
message service (SMS) are
network services. Your phone also
allows you to send and receive
text messages contain pictures
or melodies. A message with
pictures is made up of several text
messages. Therefore, sending
a message with pictures will
cost more than a single text only
message.
Write message
To write a message
1. From the main menu, select
Messaging and press OK
.
2. Select Text message and press
OK
.
3. Choose Write message and
press OK to write message.
4. You can also personalize your
message with various special
effects by selecting following
options:
► Use template: Insert default
template for quick writing.
► Insert object: Insert picture,
animation, melody and sound in
your text message.
► Format text: Choose text size,
style, alignment or start with new
paragraph.
► Insert contacts: Insert a contact
form your contact list.
► Insert bookmark: Insert a
bookmark from your bookmark
list.
► Input method: Choose desired
input method.
Note
► To jump to Message function, you
can press the
N
navigation keys
up in the idle status.
► To key in the content, please refer
to Input method on page
19.
► You can use the
*
key to enter
symbols and use the
#
key to
switch the input methods and use
the navigation keys to shift the
cursor.
To send a message manually
1. From the main menu, select
Messaging and press OK
