Chapter 5 Functions Used During a Call
Mute Function (
During a Call
: Menu )
This function locks the microphone of your telephone and
prevent sounds from your end being heard by the person at
the other end.
To enable Mute Function:
1) Press the Soft Key 1 during the call.
2) Press the key Mute.
To disable Mute Function:
1) Repeat the procedure.
Memo (
During a Call
: Menu )
It allows you to note a phone number that the other person
provides you during a call.The number will be stored in the
Sent Call history.
1. Press the Soft Key 1 during the call.
2. Press the key Memo .
3.Type the phone number and press the Soft Key 1 Save.
Voice Privacy (
During a Call
: MENU )
Set the privacy feature for CDMA calls as Enhanced or
Standard. CDMA offers inherent voice privacy. check with
Reliance for availability of the enhanced voice privacy mode.
Messages (During a Call : Menu )
1. Press the Soft Key 1 during the call.
2. Press the key Messages. (see page 35).
Note You may adjust the Speak Volume during a call
by pressing
.
Settings (Menu )
You can set sound volume of the game and backlight
to on or off.
To change your phone’s setting when you play the
game.
1. Press Soft Key 1 Menu.
2. Press R WORLD.
3. Press Sample Games.
4. Press Settings.
5. Use to choose the setting between Game
Volume and Backlight.
Note If backlight is turned on and the phone is kept inac-
tive in the Games menu, battery will drain.
Reset R-Menu (Menu )
Remove downloaded Discovery Application and Font
Midlet and reset the bilingual feature of R-Menu to eng-
lish.
1. Press Soft Key 1 Menu.
2. Press R WORLD.
3. Press Reset R-Menu.
4. Select Yes or No with and then press Soft Key
