Making a call
Tip! To adjust the
volume during a call, press
to increase and
to decrease the volume
level.
1 In standby mode, key in the phone number, including the area code. Press to
remove a number. For international calls, press twice for the international prefix
(the + character replaces the international access code) and then key in the country
code, the area code without 0, and the phone number.
2 Press to call the number.
3 Press to end the call (or to cancel the call attempt).
Note: Pressing will always end a call, even if another application is active.
Tip! In standby mode, press to access a list of the 20 last numbers you called
or attempted to call. Scroll to the number you want and press to call the
number.
Tip! To change the
phone number of your
voice mailbox, press
and select Tools Voice
mailbox and select
Options Change
number. Key in the
number (obtained from
your service provider) and
press OK.
Making a call using Contacts
Press and select Contacts. Scroll to the desired name. Or, key in the first letters
of the name to the Search field. Matching contacts are listed. Press to call.
Calling your voice mailbox (Network Service)
To call your voice mailbox, press and hold in standby mode.
If the game deck asks for the voice mailbox number (obtained from your service
provider), key it in and press OK. See also ‘Diverting calls (Network Service)’, p. 29. Each
phone line may have its own voice mailbox number, see ‘Line in use (Network Service’),
p. 35.
