Gives you access to the options menu, from which the
following options are available:
Use the phone as a modem
You can also use your mobile phone to-
gether with a PC or a PDA, e.g. to surf
the Internet or send faxes.
To fully benefit from the services available via IrDA
(send and receive SMS, e-mail and fax, upload pictures
and MIDI sounds in your phone, phonebook synchro-
nization, GPRS Wizard, etc.), you must install Mobile
Phone Tools on your PC. This software application is
available on the CD-Rom shipped with your phone.
The software supplied on the CD-Rom is not compati-
ble with Apple
®
Macintosh
®
computers. It only sup-
ports Windows
®
98 SE, ME, 2000 and XP.
Specific software modules for Lotus Notes, Lotus Or-
ganizer and Microsoft Outlook are designed to allow
synchronisation from your Philips mobile phone to
these applications: refer to their respective user guides
for detailed information concerning installation and
configuration.
Save
Saves the data in the appropriate menu
(
Name
cards in the
Phonebook
,
Event
cards in the
Organiser
, etc.), then goes
back to idle.
In the case of a
Name
card, a
<New>
screen will be opened, for you to save
this new record.
The files default names are used, and
you can freely rename each of them via
the appropriate menu (i.e. in
Multimedia
>
Sounds
when you have saved a ringer
you would like to rename).
Show
Displays the details of the data you have
received: press
c
to go back one
screen.
You must save the data to modify it.
If you have received a
Picture
, it will be
displayed in full screen.
If you have received a
Sound
, it will be
played once. Press
c
or
,
to stop
playing it, or move the side keys up or
down to change the volume.
Data
