application, then follow the prompts to complete the
installation.
Delete an Application
Some applications are large and take up space on your handset.
To help manage space and memory requirements for other
software that may need to be installed, you can delete any
application not required for your device to operate correctly. To
delete an application:
1. From the Home screen, press
Start
, then select
Settings
() ➔
More...
➔
Remove Programs
.
2. Select the program from the list and press
Menu
, then
select Remove. For more information, refer to “Remove
Programs” on page 116.
3. Select Yes to confirm.
4. Press
Done
to save your changes and return to the
previous screen.

6.5 includes a mobile version of Task
Manager that lets you review the applications running on your
handset and, if needed, stop them running.
1. From the Home
screen, press
Start
,
then select
Accessories
()
➔
Task Manager
( ). The
Task
Manager
screen
displays.
2. To end a task,
highlight the task and press
End Task
.
3. Press
Menu
to access the following options:
•Switch To
: switches to and displays the selected application.
• End All Tasks
: ends all the tasks that are running.
•View
: Allows you to view Applications or Processes.
•Sort By
: Allows you to sort how applications are viewed, by
Memory, CPU, or Name.
•Refresh
: Refreshes the screen display.
•Exit
: Exits the Task Manager screen.
