Searching for and pairing with a Bluetooth
device
1. On the Home screen, press the
Start
soft key.
2. Select
Settings
→
More...
→
Connections
→
Bluetooth
→
General
.
3. To search for a new device, select
Add new device...
4. Wait for the device to search for Bluetooth devices.
5. Select a device to connect to the device.
6. Enter a Bluetooth passcode and press the
Next
soft key.
This passcode is used just once and you do not need to
memorise it.
When the owner of the other device enters the same
passcode, paring is finished.
Note
: Some devices, especially headsets or hands-free car
kits, may have a fixed Bluetooth
passcode
, such as
0000
. If the other device has one, you must enter
the code.
7. Press the
OK
soft key when the connection is
established.
8. Enter a display name for the other device and press the
Next
soft key.
9. Check the services you want and press the
Done
soft
key.
