Setting up the search options
You can change the search options for each item type to
provide the device with more specific information to narrow
the search items.
1. From the Smart Search screen, press the
Menu
soft key
and select
Options
.
2. Select the item type you want and set each option.
•
Contact
: Select the types of contact information you
want to include in your search.
•
Appointment
: Select whether to include notes, or set
a date for the device to search for appointments.
•
Task
: Select whether to include notes in your search.
•
SMS/MMS
: Select the types of message information
you want to include in your search, or set a date for
the device to search for text messages.
•
E-mail
: Select the types of email information you
want to include in your search, or set a date for the
device to search for email messages.
•
Phone call
: Select the types of calls you want to
include in your search.
•
File name
: Select the storage locations you want to
include in your search.
3. When you have finished, press the
Done
soft key.
