3. Enter your message in the text entry area at the bottom
of the screen, or press the
Menu
soft key and select
Add emoticon
to add an emoticon.
4. Press the
Send
soft key to send the message.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to chat with the contact.
During a chat:
• To send a media file, press the
Menu
soft key and
select
Send
→
a type
→
a media file.
• To invite another contact to a multi user chat, press
the
Menu
soft key, select
Options
→
Add
participant
, and select the contact you want to invite.
• To switch back to the main window, press the
Navigation key. To revert back to your chat window,
press the Navigation key and select the person whom
you were chatting with.
• To view the participants of the current chat, press the
Menu
soft key and select
Options
→
View
participants
.
• To record and send a voice clip, press the
Voice clip
soft key.
6. To end the chat, press the
Menu
soft key and select
End conversation
.
Customising Windows Live Messenger settings
To change the settings for the Windows Live Messenger,
press the
Menu
soft key and select
Change appearance
.
You can change your display name or picture.
Using the Hotmail service
You can send and read email messages on the device via
the Microsoft Hotmail service.
