Analog signal recording
1 Insert the “MagicGate Memory Stick” into the phone (see
page 17).
2 Connect the phone to the AC adaptor and the power plug
to mains (see page 15).
3 Connect the LINE IN (OPTICAL) jack on the phone to the
line output jacks or headphone jack on the audio device
using the commercially available line cable (stereo mini-
plug y 2-pin plug) or the supplied analog audio cable.

As the maximum recording time of the “MagicGate Memory Stick” is 120 min.
(at 66kbps), please connect the AC adaptor to the phone when recording.
You can only record the digital signal of 44.1 kHz sampling frequency.
The analog signal recording may not be performed due to an incomplete
connection depending on the line cables which are commercially available.
However, the recording performance is confirmed using the following cable.
