Format stick
If you need to format the “MagicGate Memory Stick,” be sure to use the
“Format stick” function.
If formatted, all data previously recorded on the “MagicGate Memory
Stick” is erased. Be sure to check the data before formatting (data recorded
using other devices is also erased).
Notes
• Do not remove the “MagicGate Memory Stick” or disconnect the AC adaptor
while formatting.
• You cannot use a ”MagicGate Memory Stick” that is formatted by a computer.
• Even if you receive an incoming call while formatting, formatting the “MagicGate
Memory stick” is not interrupted.
• If the erasure prevention switch of the “MagicGate Memory Stick” is set to
“Lock,” you cannot format the “MagicGate Memory Stick.”
• The “MagicGate Memory Stick” which is supplied and also those which are
commercially available have already been formatted.
Stick info
You can get the “MagicGate Memory Stick” information. The display
shows the data amount, the number of recorded tracks and the total
recorded time.
