Using XM Audio
When a GDL 30A is connected to the Garmin Marine Network and to the audio input of your boat,
you can listen to XM Audio channels.
Selecting an XM Audio Channel
To access XM Audio from the Home screen, select Congure > XM Audio. Touch a channel to tune
to it. Touch Previous Page or Next Page to see more channels.
XM Audio Settings
To access the audio settings, select Menu.
Save Preset
—save the currently playing channel as a preset. You can save 15 preset channels, which
can be shared over a Garmin Marine Network.
Category—change the audio category to view just the channels in a specic genre of music, sports,
or news.
Channel Entry—manually enter a channel number for quick access.
Mute—mutes the audio output from the GDL 30A.
