Change the Block setting
The Block feature allows you to receive calls only from contacts you have designated as VIPs.
The Block feature can be set to OFF or ON. When the Block feature is set to OFF, all callers can
ring through. When the Block feature is set to ON, only VIP callers can ring through while all
other callers are sent directly to your office voicemail. You designate contacts as VIPs in your
Phonebook. See C
hange VIP status of a Phonebook contact on page 40.
To change the block setting, in the Block field on the Avaya one-X Mobile Home screen, tap the
ON/OFF button to toggle between the two settings.
When set to OFF, no calls are blocked. All calls, including those from non-VIPs, ring
through.
When set to ON, only calls from people you have designated as VIPs in your Phonebook
ring through. All other callers are sent to your office voicemail.
