Menu functions
With Chat you can exchange text messages with another person. For more information, see Chat on
page 51.
Viewing a message you have saved (Outbox)
You can save your own messages in Outbox.
1. Press Menu, select Messages, and then Outbox.
2. Scroll to the desired message and press Read to view it.
3. Pressing Options while you are reading a message allows you to access the same functions as
Inbox, except for Reply and Details.
Erasing messages
You can erase read messages folder by folder.
1. Press Menu, select Messages, and then Erase messages.
2. Scroll to the desired folder and press OK. When Erase all read messages from folder? is displayed,
press OK.
Chat
You can converse with another person by exchanging text messages.
1. Press Menu, select Messages, and select Chat. Or:
While reading a received text message, press Options and select Chat.
2. Key in the other person’s phone number or search for it from the phone book (see Making a call
using the phone book on page 30), and press OK.
