You can also change the tone settings of the profile in use in Tone settings, see Tone settings on
page 67.
Tip: If you want to activate the Silent profile quickly, press the power key and . To change
to the General profile, press the power key and .
Timed profile
You can activate a profile for a certain time up to 24 hours. When the time set for the profile expires,
your phone returns to the profile that was active before the timed profile.
1. Press Menu, select Profiles, and select the profile you want to activate.
2. Scroll to Timed and press OK.
3. Key in the time in hours and minutes after Profile expires:.
Note that you must set the clock before you can time a profile. See Clock on page 62.
4. Press OK to confirm the time you have set.
Timed profile is displayed with a clock indicator in the standby mode.
Profile logo
Sets the picture that is displayed in standby mode after a selected period of time (called ’timeout’). You
can set the phone’s own still and animated pictures as a profile logo.
• Select Off to set the profile logo off, On to activate the timeout and profile logo selected previously,
Timeout to set a time when the profile logo activates.
• Profile logo displays the currently active profile logo. To change it, scroll to the profile logo you
want and press Use .
Note that you must set the clock before you can select it as a profile logo. See Clock on page 62.
