Note: When security features, that restrict calls, are in use (call barring, closed user group and fixed
dialling), calls may be possible to certain emergency numbers in some networks (e.g. 112 or other official
emergency numbers).
PIN code request
You can set the phone to ask for the PIN code of your SIM card every time the phone is switched on.
You need the PIN code to turn this request function on. Some SM cards do not allow the PIN code
request to be turned off.
Call barring service
With this network service, you can restrict the making and receiving of calls with your phone. For this
function you need the barring password.
When you make a call while the call barring is set on, the phone may display a note reminding you of
this.
Fixed dialling
This service restricts your outgoing calls to selected phone numbers, if this function is supported by
your SIM card. To set this function on or off, or to save, edit or erase the numbers on the list, you need
to have the PIN2 code.
Closed user group
This network service specifies the group of people to whom you can make a call and who can call you.
Default resets the phone to use a user group that the SIM card owner has agreed upon with the service
provider.
